LAN International Conference 2021 in Collaboration With Far-Western University, Nepal on Indigenous Literature at Mahendranagar, Far-Western Province, Nepal
Due to the Covid-19 induced situation, the LAN’s 40th conference has been rescheduled for 3-4 April 2021. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please see the key dates below.
Indigenous people are credited all over the world for preserving and promoting their literatures whether in America or Asian countries even in an adverse situation due to the dominating modern cultures and literatures of the existing power groups. Indigenous literatures are rich in content and themes, though they have been neglected considering
them as inferior to the so-called mainstream literatures. In this light, such literatures across the globe need to be explored and invented to highlight their richness in form and content.
LAN’s 40th conference on Indigenous Literature is primarily focused on glorifying them in order to widen the common readers’ access. The participants in the upcoming conference are encouraged to invent the unexplored areas /aspects of indigenous literature in Nepal and other countries, particularly in the Asian countries. So, the LAN calls for papers aiming at exploring the hidden current issues not yet known to the readers of so-called mainstream people.
